Ocean Alexander Market Update: August 2026

Eight price reductions posted since the July 6th report and seven listings came off the market, one of them a confirmed sale. Thirty active priced listings sit in the tracked market as of September 4, 2026, spanning 45 to 120 feet and $649,000 to $18,995,000. This ‘Ocean Alexander market update August 2026’ covers all of them picking up from the July 6th report. The full series lives on the article hub, here: Ocean Alexander market insights.

I cover multiple broker MLS’ rather than one website so it captures every OA regardless of where it is listed. Most brokers carry access to one portal. I pay for access to both. A share of these boats also change hands without ever being advertised. Nobody can put a negotiated percentage or price on those. My alerts list lets you know about those immediately if at all possible.

Seven listings came off the market

Aquasition, the 2021 27 Explorer in West Palm Beach, sold on July 22. She closed below her final asking price and further below her original one. I’ll go through that transaction in a private conversation. It leaves no 27 Explorer in the market.

Six more listings came off without a sold record. MOCEAN, the 2021 70E in Miami Beach, at $2,650,000 after roughly 96 days. Psyche, the 2015 72 Pilothouse in Cape Coral, at $2,200,000 after roughly 165 days. Somewhere In Time, the 2005 78 Pilothouse in Palm Beach Gardens, at $1,599,000 after about five weeks. The 2020 45 Divergence Sport in Coral Gables at $699,999 after roughly 193 days. The 2000 60 Trawler in Fort Lauderdale at $649,000 after roughly 64 days. None of them appear in the sold records for this period including a 2016 90′ Sky Lounge that has been removed only after a couple months.

MOCEAN leaves the 70E category empty. No 70E is listed in the tracked market right now. My 70E value page covers how that model has been trading.

Almost no boat outside the COVID years sells at its asking price and Aquasition was no exception. The spread between the first ask and the closing figure is what matters and if you would like to know more about it, drop me a note. A sale reported at or near the ask usually means the ask had already been reduced to that number. I track closings on this brand and I’ll walk through them privately. Treat every asking price as the start of a negotiation, not a comp.

45 Divergence

Dream Weaver, the 2021 Divergence Coupe in Holden Beach, North Carolina, crossed the 120 day threshold and now shows 122 days at $799,000 with no reduction ever taken. Quad 400 hp Mercury Verado outboards with 275 hours.

The 2020 Divergence Coupe in Fajardo, Puerto Rico shows 28 days on a counter that reset in early August. Real exposure runs past two and a half years. At $795,000 it sits $4,000 under Dream Weaver with roughly 40 fewer hours.

58 and 60, Generally older models but still popular

Momentum III, the 2005 58 Motor Yacht in Fort Pierce, reduced from $699,000 to $649,000 on August 24. Twin Caterpillar C12s at 700 hp with 2,500 hours. It’s now the lowest ask in the tracked market. CHANGE OF LATITUDE, the 2001 60 in Fort Lauderdale, is at $795,000 at 430 days with over 4,300 hours and no reduction ever posted.

One note on older models: complete your insurance due diligence prior to making any offer and have it 100% locked in before acceptance. Some owners have had the shock of outrageous premiums in recent months.

64 and 65 Pilothouse

Bluewater, the 2005 64 Pilothouse in Fort Lauderdale was reduced from $1,050,000 to $999,000 as it crossed 120 days. Twin Detroit Series 60s with 2,784 hours.

HIGH COTTON, the 2013 65 Pilothouse, is back on the market at $1,575,000 showing 28 days, now in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina as a ‘new’ listing. It just had another price increase of $50,000 on 8/9/26. The same boat carried $1,549,000 in Thunderbolt, Georgia through the summer and reached 176 days there. Cumulative exposure runs past six months and the ask came back higher than it left. 1,170 hours per side on C18’s.

72 Pilothouse

ESCAPE, the 2016 72 Pilothouse in Chesapeake City, Maryland, reduced $300,000 on August 28, from $2,695,000 to $2,395,000, at 84 days. Twin Caterpillar C18 ACERTs at 1,150 hp with 2,089 and 2,076 hours. Psyche’s exit leaves this the only 72 Pilothouse in the market. That’s the largest percentage reduction of the period, posted five weeks before the listing would have reached 120 days. Most sellers here wait until they’re well past the threshold to move that much. By then the reduction reads as a concession rather than a decision.

74 and 80

Margarita, the 2010 74 Motoryacht in Fort Lauderdale is back on the market at $1,350,000 showing four days on a new counter. The prior listing reached 261 days across four reductions. Actual time available runs close to ten months and the ask sits roughly $350,000 below where it started the year. Twin MTUs at 1,500 hp with about 2800 hours.

GAIL FORCE, the 2011 74 Open Flybridge in Fort Lauderdale is at $1,375,000 at 214 days with a little over 4100 hours. The $24,000 reduction from $1,399,000 posted in April with nothing since.

SEA GRACE, a 2009 74 Flybridge in San Diego is new to the tracked market at $2,495,000. Twin MTU 10V at 1,550 hp with rebuilt ZF transmissions, Ed Monk Jr. design. The listing shows roughly 280 hours, but that reads as hours since the mains were gone through by an MTU dealer rather than total hull hours. Assume high hours until someone documents otherwise. California boats can trade much differently due to taxes and I have not covered the West Coast boats because of this… maybe in the future.

JusMad, the 2005 80 in Fort Lauderdale, holds at $1,199,000 with 7,334 and 7,349 hours, the highest reading in the market. With Somewhere In Time gone it’s the only boat left on that platform.

83E

The 2010 83E at 85 feet in West Palm Beach remains in the data at $2,650,000. That price hasn’t been refreshed since June 2024 and is probably a stale listing.

90 Skylounge

ABOAT TIME, a 2013 90 Sky Lounge in North Palm Beach, came on the market 11 days ago at $3,650,000. Twin MTU 12V 2000 M94s at 1,920 hp with 2,400 hours. She finished a yard period after a January 2026 survey with every recommendation addressed: running gear service, fresh bottom paint and prop speed plus stabilizer and thruster service. Evan K. Marshall design.

ONE SHOT, the 2012 90 Skylounge in Boca Raton, then reduced $200,000 from $3,895,000 to $3,695,000 at 67 days. The one year older boat repriced within days of the 2013 hull arriving $45,000 underneath it, which is what a working competitive response looks like on this platform. ONE SHOT carries a documented $500,000 refit from 2023 and 2,850 hours on twin MTU 10V 2000 M94s.

27R and 28R

South C’s, the 2023 27R at Ocean Reef, reached exactly 120 days this week at $7,499,000 with no reduction. 700hrs on the 1650hp MAN’s still presumably under the 60 month gold standard warranty.

STILL WATERS, a 2025 27R, came on the market 24 days ago at $8,275,000 in Fort Lauderdale. Twin MAN V12 1650s with 177 and 181 hours, MAN factory warranty until the end of 2026, five cabins, privately owned and never chartered. The two sit $776,000 apart. It is the newest boat for sale by two model years has about 500 fewer hours and confirmed warranty coverage.

Dock Dock Goose, the 2021 28R in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, entered at $7,995,000 and has only been on the market about a month. Twin MAN V12 1900s at roughly 1,250 hours with recent service done and transferable MAN warranty through June 2027.

28L

Salt & Light, the 2025 28L in Jupiter, is unchanged at $8,999,000. The $451,000 reduction from $9,450,000 posted in April with nothing since. It had just under 300 hours approximately 7 months ago.

100 series – We have a potential off market opportunity coming this fall/winter.

BELLA LISA, the 2020 100 Skylounge in Lighthouse Point, reduced $600,000 from $8,500,000 to $7,900,000 at 186 days. That’s the largest dollar reduction of the period and the first move since the listing came on in March. 1,169 hours per side. A seller who holds a price for six months and then takes $600,000 off in one step has decided the asking price was the problem rather than the market.

That puts her $105,000 above IRIDESCENCE and $405,000 above ZEPHYR while carrying the lowest hours of the three. IRIDESCENCE, the 2020 100 Flybridge in Fort Lauderdale, is at $7,795,000 at 422 days with 1,508 hours. Six months have passed since its reduction from $8,200,000 with nothing following. ZEPHYR, the 2019 100 Motoryacht in North Palm Beach, is at $7,495,000 with 2,010 hours at 59 days. Wiggle Room, the 2018 100 Motoryacht in Naples, entered at $6,990,000 and shows 60 days with 2,715 hours, the least expensive second generation 100 in the market. CHINDON, the 2017 in Jupiter, holds at $5,295,000 at 95 days with 1,722 hours.

ROBIN’S NEST, the 2008 100 Skylounge in Fort Lauderdale, reduced $50,000 to $2,849,000 and sits at 182 days with a 2024 refit and 2,739 and 2,731 hours. This is a first generation hull on a 22 foot beam with conventional Ed Monk interior architecture. It should never be priced against the 2016 and later boats above it. The Ocean Alexander models page covers the split. It’s the only pre-2016 100 in the market and the most accessible by more than $2,400,000.

We have an owner that is moving up from a 100 Sky Lounge. This particular 100 OA was not reported sold by the listing brokerage, luckily we have the records available. I believe this 2018 will be the most attractively priced 100 coming to market.

32L

Cool Change, the 2025 32L in Fort Lauderdale, reduced $350,000 to $10,900,000 at 58 days on the market and 700 hours on her engines. That reduction put it level to the dollar with LA-LA-LA, a model year older 2024 32L in Miami at $10,900,000 at 7 months on the market. Carbon Copy is a 2022 32L in Boca Raton unchanged at $9,875,000 which has been listed almost a full year. There is plenty to discuss on these 32L’s. All three have had significant price reductions.

37L, 120 and 35 Revolution

Dreams, the 2022 37L in Fort Lauderdale, holds at $16,900,000 with 1,100 hours. The story here is two brokerages under the same umbrella are sharing the listing which is why you see it twice on one MLS. Original listing over 6 months and the 2nd brokerage’s listing coming on 45 days ago. It also publishes a previous price of $1,690,000 (a data entry error) the actual prior ask was $17,900,000.

WRECKLESS, the 2017 Ocean Alexander 120 in Newport, Rhode Island just listed a month ago at $11,950,000 and pretty high  hours on twin MTU 16V2000 M96s. That gives the OA 120 mega yacht a two boat comparison for the first time this year: $11,950,000 for a 2017 with nearly 4,900 hours against $16,900,000 for a 2022 with 1,100.

SERENITY NOW is a 2024 35 Revolution in Boston, unchanged at $18,995,000 with 1,100 hours on MTU 16v2000 M96L. The $1,000,000 reduction posted July 1 and has been on the market 6 months.

August Ocean Alexander Market FAQ

Ocean Alexander market update August 2026: what the period showed

Eight sellers moved on price and the two largest, BELLA LISA and ESCAPE, both moved before their listings passed 120 days. That’s a change from the spring, when reductions came late and small. Seven boats are off the market and six entered, so inventory held flat while the middle of the ladder tightened.

If you own one of these boats, the conversation that matters happens before the listing goes live. My Ocean Alexander seller page covers how I approach that. You can reach me directly as the Ocean Alexander specialist for Southeast Florida.

How many Ocean Alexander yachts are for sale right now?

Thirty active priced Ocean Alexander listings are in the tracked market as of September 4, 2026. They run from 45 to 120 feet and from $649,000 to $18,995,000. This ocean alexander market update august 2026 covers every one of them across the broker portals rather than a single brokerage’s inventory. Boats listed at “call for price” are excluded, as are factory new builds.

Which Ocean Alexander yachts reduced in price recently?

Eight listings moved since the July 6th report. BELLA LISA, a 2020 100 Skylounge, reduced $600,000 to $7,900,000. Cool Change, a 2025 32L, reduced $350,000 to $10,900,000. ESCAPE, a 2016 72 Pilothouse, reduced $300,000 to $2,395,000. ONE SHOT, a 2012 90 Skylounge, reduced $200,000 to $3,695,000. Bluewater, ROBIN’S NEST and Momentum III each took smaller reductions. Margarita came back on the market at $1,350,000.

Did any Ocean Alexander yachts sell?

One confirmed sale. Aquasition, a 2021 27 Explorer in West Palm Beach, sold in July, 2026. She closed below her final asking price and further below her original one. Five other listings came off the market with no sold record. This could mean anything from simply being withdrawn to a seasonal move we see all the time. I don’t report a boat as sold without a record.

What does 120 days on market mean for an Ocean Alexander?

It’s the point where buyers stop treating a listing as fresh and start treating the asking price as negotiable by default. Three boats hit that mark this period. Bluewater crossed and reduced at the same time. Dream Weaver crossed at 122 days with no reduction ever taken. South C’s, a 2023 27R, reached exactly 120. Sellers who reduce before that threshold generally hold more of their asking price than sellers who wait until after it. It doesn’t have to be exactly 120 days but if you are a seller it should be close to that! That is what my sold data points to.

What is the difference between a first generation and second generation Ocean Alexander 100?

They share a name and a length and almost nothing else. The 2008 to 2015 boats are Ed Monk designs on a 22 foot beam with conventional interior styling. The 2016 and later boats are Evan K. Marshall designs on a 23 foot beam with aluminum I-beam structure and zero speed stabilization. Engines can vary between C32’s and MTU options that I have seen. Only one first generation hull is currently in the market. ROBIN’S NEST at $2,849,000 should not be priced against the newer platform.

What’s the biggest risk for a buyer in this market right now?

Reading an asking price as a value. Several listings here have sat for well over a year without moving which means their prices have probably never been tested by a real buyer. IRIDESCENCE is at 422 days and CHANGE OF LATITUDE is at 430. A long listing with no reduction history tells you what a seller hopes for, not what the boat is worth. This also leads to all sorts of buyer speculation! The listings that have reduced recently are the ones showing you where the market actually is.

If you own an Ocean Alexander, the conversation that decides your outcome usually happens before the listing goes live. Once a boat has been sitting for four months the market has already formed an opinion and you’re negotiating against it. Buyers and brokers like me are tracking this data closely. We are watching which sellers move early because those are the boats where a reasonable offer gets a reasonable answer.

Buyers tracking this market can start a private conversation about what is coming available before it is listed.
